What to Expect

Join the Rural Caucus May 1-3, 2026 for a jam-packed weekend with Rural Democrats where we will learn, hear, speak, and share with each other innovative strategies on how to work and win in rural areas. We will be joined by a host of speakers, organizations, and candidates!

Pricing

Early Bird Advance Tickets are available until February 6, 2026 for $185.

Young Democrats tickets are available for $150.

❋ Location

This year, Rural Retreat will be hosted at the beautiful Wintergreen Resort in Nellysford, Virginia. Located in the heart of both Nelson County and the 5th District, Wintergreen will allow us to host more people than ever before!

❋ Where to Stay/Room Blocks

Lodging will be on-site at Wintergreen Resort at the Mountain Inn and on-site condos. Both options are located by the venue space, however, shuttles will be made available for those in need.

The rate for both types of lodging will be $139/night. Please call 1-877-483-6512 to reserve your room at this special rate.

Food is included in your ticket price. However, Wintergreen has three restaurants on-site, including pizza delivery, for other options.

❋ Other Information

Nearby medical providers include Augusta Health, UVA Medical Center, and Sentara Martha Jefferson. The village of Nellysford includes an IGA Grocery, a Dollar General, and a host of wineries and breweries!
